Milling Hotel Mini 19

I booked a regular double, but was given a tiny room with no window.

The location is the best thing about this hotel, and the service was very good. My room smelled strongly of cigarettes when I arrived, but the receptionist moved me to another room right away.

The room stayed cold most of the time because the heating didn’t always come on. The bathroom shower and toilet were okay, though the toilet was crooked. The TV only turned on about half the time, and even then it had only around 12 boring German channels. I was also disappointed by how the biggest room looked compared with the online presentation. The queen bed was split, which isn’t ideal for couples. There was trash in the gap between the joined beds, an old gun at the head of the bed, and stains on the carpet. The location is convenient, but this is overpriced for the quality. The beds are fairly comfortable if you’re alone.

The decor was poor quality, and the free coffee machine was there, but nobody seemed to restock sugar, creamers, or cups. During my week there, no one came to change the towels or bedding, or even empty the bin. The bed creaked noisily whenever I moved. I complained at reception and was told the beds were old and someone would come look at it, but that never happened. Very disappointing.
