We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday here, and it felt like a little piece of heaven. The place was peaceful and relaxing, the food was great, and I loved all the thoughtful touches, from the birthday sash on the door to the celebratory dessert at dinner. Our hut room was impeccable, clean, and organized. The king size bed was roomy, neither too soft nor uncomfortable, and I slept well. The sheets were crisp and clean, and the bathroom and shower were clean too. The towels could use more bleach, though I understand they may keep chemicals to a minimum so close to nature. They were clean, which was enough for me. Meals came in hearty portions with a good variety to choose from. Prices were about what the local restaurant down the road charges, so eating at the hotel was worth it. The waitstaff were super friendly and spoke English. The beaches were clean and raked in the morning, and the pool was clear and well maintained. We saw the crew doing their chores each day. Staff dealt with our issues right away, even late in the evening. It's a lovely secluded, chic boutique hotel for couples or newlyweds, with understated decor and a low noise level.

We had a really nice time here. It's a lovely little resort right on the beach, with full restaurant service and a beautiful pool. The Saturday dinner on the beach, with all the grilled meat, was something we enjoyed. Our rooms were cute and fun, comfortable and clean, with good beds. Some have little patios, which are nice. The towels could use replacing, but otherwise we liked the rooms. Service was excellent, everyone was attentive, and the food was good. We enjoyed the pool table, fruit juice, and thoughtful little touches. We came on a recommendation and were glad we did.

The location is beautiful, but the mosquitoes made it hard to enjoy. The property was completely infested, and there were already several flying around when I first entered my room. I couldn't sit outside or relax indoors without being bitten constantly. For a resort charging this much, they should have proper mosquito control and make guests more comfortable. It was really disappointing, and definitely not worth the price.

The grounds and location were gorgeous and very well maintained, and our food was delicious. We were there for Parillada night, and the lobster was cooked perfectly. Some staff were a pleasure to deal with, while others seemed like they didn't want to be there. Big shout out to Michael the waiter and Eridania the bartender. We also paid for the VIP tour to Cayo Arena, with the upgrades over the standard package: sandwiches, bottled sodas, water, and ceviche. It was a must do, but our captain Anthony gave some of our sandwiches and soda to people outside our paid group without asking us first. That was totally not cool and incredibly inappropriate. The mattresses were very firm, so be prepared for that, and, as other people have said, the towels need an upgrade or replacement.
