Numidien Hotel

For the money, I haven't found a better option. The hotel has private, secure parking, and it's close to the airport, about a 15-minute drive from Algiers center. My room was in good condition, the hotel was clean, and the staff were helpful and professional. Breakfast was decent too. If you're passing through Algiers, I recommend it.

The price is a bit high, and the rooms need cleaning and maintenance. The staff are friendly and helpful, though, very helpful.

It's my second stay in three years, and the prices have doubled. We paid 16500 DA for a triple room. The staff were nice, and the room was fairly spacious, but the bedding was stained and the towels were worn and torn. Breakfast was OK.

Be very careful here, especially if you have a flight the next day. They advertised an airport shuttle and confirmed it at reception, but after I had paid and finished the paperwork, they said they could only call a taxi and that it had been a misunderstanding. The taxi I found outside the next day charged me four times the normal price. They also charged me four times the usual amount for a bottle of water without knowing its price. Another time, a man charged me 150dz instead of the 200dz it cost, then came knocking on my door at 23:00 pm to ask for the missing 50dz. The service was very poor, and the price was more than it was worth. I had a very bad experience.
