The buffet tajin djelben left me with severe food poisoning, and I was sick for five days. That’s unacceptable and points to a serious hygiene failure. During my one-night stay, the pool was also closed and there was nothing to do at the hotel.

Breakfast had a good range of hot and cold choices, and the freshly baked pastries were delicious. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful, and the gym has enough machines for a workout. I didn’t use the spa or the outdoor pool, so I can’t comment on either. At AZ Zephyr, the reception was welcoming and polite, the hotel was updated and very clean, and everything worked as it should. They also took my requests into account.

The bed really needs an upgrade. It wasn’t comfortable enough for the price and kind of hotel, and I didn’t like the shampoo and conditioner in the shower. I brought my own, but my kids took them into their room. Even so, I enjoyed our stay. The hotel is near plenty of food and shopping, the front desk and restaurant staff were friendly, and the cleaning staff were accommodating. The room was clean when we arrived, though there was a stain in the sink. The shower pressure was great. We went to the pool on 10/10, but the security guard said it was closed for the season and asked us to get out. We then rented the indoor pool and spa for 1.5 hours for just our family of 7, which was lots of fun. Breakfast was very good and much fresher than in the USA. I’d definitely stay again.

We’ll definitely come back, and I’d recommend this hotel to friends and family. Check-in and checkout both went smoothly, and chourouk at reception was welcoming and always smiling. Everyone we dealt with in the buffet, lobby coffee area, and room service was polite, helpful, and dedicated. The breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing, with wonderful traditional dishes from the chef and team. A few things could be better: the breakfast buffet music was too loud, the Wifi signal was weak, and there should be a way to keep people in wet swimsuits out of the lobby and reception, since an accident could happen. A guide to places to visit around Mostaganem would also be useful. For a 4⭐️ hotel, it exceeded our expectations. Proud to have a place like this in Algeria 🇩🇿
