The oasis setting made this one of my best travel experiences. I loved the views, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and the local food was delicious.

The food was a real highlight, full of flavor and clearly made with care. Kaddour and his wife Kektoum made us feel at home right away, with so much warmth and generosity. Dar El Kef is a beautiful, authentic place where we could completely switch off and feel at peace. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there. It was unforgettable, and we’ll definitely come back. ✨❤️

The food here feels properly homemade, and the meals are generous. Breakfast was varied and just right. Kaddour was kind and discreet, and I wish him success with this family project, which is doing something valuable for Algeria. Dar El Kef is in a small village about 10km from central Timimoun, surrounded by a quiet, unspoiled palm grove. It’s a great traditional place to get away from city pollution and recharge. The rooms are adequate, though the shower head and toilet flush could use some work. There’s running water, and it gets nice and hot.
