The place is a fair distance from the markets and other restaurants. Showers didn’t always have hot or even warm water, there was no bin in the main room, and Wi-Fi access was very limited, which also limited the Netflix service they provided. In room 4, the bathroom isn’t fully separate from the main room because the wall doesn’t reach the ceiling. On the plus side, there’s a good river view nearby, free breakfast, and a very powerful shower. Rooms for two or three also had an extra spare bed, which could be useful. There are better places to stay, even if you’re trying to save money.

Breakfast is included, and you can order lunch or dinner. Laundry service is available too. The hostess speaks two languages and was incredibly helpful. It’s a beautiful property by the river, with three lovely waterfalls within walking distance. I’d definitely recommend it to overseas travelers and backpackers.

The price is competitive, and the location and view are outstanding, so it’s worth staying here. The rooms could use some work, though: our sink leaked, the outlets were in awkward spots, and the hot water wasn’t working.
