We had a tour later in the day, and the staff kindly kept our luggage until we got back. Check-out is at 1 pm. Our family room had two full-size beds, a bunk bed, cable TV, and a shower with warm water. The staff were very helpful. The beds were a bit hard, but we mostly enjoyed the city.
I was happy enough with the hotel itself, but not with the overall experience or its dealings with the tour company next door. The place is neat, though there's no communal area for socializing. A pushy, desperate young employee at the neighboring agency refers people to the "hostel." I was charged too much for a tour, then the owner later told me the actual price. I may also have been overcharged for the room without realizing it. If you stay, book directly or online. The tours are tacky and stop at lots of other tourist traps that hadn't been mentioned beforehand.
Elvita is clean and nicely decorated, with clear effort put into making it pleasant. The bathroom is very small, and getting hot water is a matter of luck. For the price, though, I'd stay at Elvita again.
The room was good for the price, but being right by the main street meant noise all night. It was very hard to sleep.
Overpriced, hard to find, and old enough to be in disrepair.
