The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with all the little details covered so you have what you need. As a woman traveling solo, I also felt safe thanks to the security. From the moment I arrived, everyone treated me like family. The owners and staff went above and beyond to make the stay amazing. I can't rate this hostal highly enough.

On my way back through Baños, seeing the little doves in the garden felt like running into old friends. Johanna welcomed me with so much energy and immediately made me laugh, which melted away the stress of traveling. The hot showers and one of the best free hostel breakfasts I've had helped too. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Baños. Johanna, Elba and Jimmy took care of me far beyond what they had to, and my trip would have been much less pleasant without them. Hasta la proxima vez. Earlier in my Ecuador trip, I had messaged six hostels because my bus from Coca was due at 2 a.m. and I needed advice about checking in late. La Casa del Molino Blanco was easily the most responsive, and they cared about making sure things went well, even at all hours. They worked around my schedule and gave me the warmest welcome of my two weeks in Ecuador. The property is cute and sits right beside a trail with a nice view. I came back to stay there again on my return trip.

It was calm here just outside the city center, which I really liked. The hostel was clean, the service was excellent, and a nice breakfast was included. They also offer tours and excursions at a very affordable price. Thanks for looking after me during my short stay.

Jimmy and Elba helped us get back on track after a shaky start to our time in Ecuador. They went above and beyond during our stay, and I'm so grateful.
