The pool and sauna were nice and clean, but the service was too poor for the price. Staff were rude and treated us like thieves when we asked for towels at the pool. We stayed one night, then found another hotel the next day.

We haven't stayed in the hotel, we come just to use the pool. For a few dollars you get access to all the facilities. The big indoor pool is great when it's raining, and the large hot pool is a good temperature. The sauna's nice too. The water, floors, and showers have always been clean. Sometimes there's a wait for a shower or changing room, but it's not too bad.
There's a huge regular pool, two smaller warm pools, a large hot pool, and a little cold one to dip into after the hot pool. You can also use the steam boxes, steam room, and sauna, which has a mild eucalyptus smell. Showers are included afterward, and there's a gift shop and store at the entrance. I gave it four stars because I don't believe the hot water is naturally heated by the volcano or that it's spring water.
The masseuse was attentive and the massage itself was good. But the room could use a better atmosphere. The table squeaked and shook, making it hard to relax, and there wasn't any basic aromatherapy. Near the end, staff rushed the masseuse because the next appointment had arrived.
We got a couples sports massage and pedicures here. The massages were amazing, some of the best we've had, especially after a couple of disappointing spa experiences in Ecuador.
