Some friends and I went looking for the place after it was recommended to us, but the directions were unclear and there were no signs to help. I wandered around for more than an hour and still couldn’t find it. We searched for signage too, but had no luck, which left us disappointed.

The staff were attentive and first-class, and the setting in Baños (Ecuador) was beautiful, truly spectacular. This seems ideal for families or anyone wanting to unwind for a few days. The full breakfast is included, and rooms for up to five people come with a bathroom, TV, double bed, and two single beds. Facilities include an indoor heated pool, Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi, and mini-gym. If you’d rather not eat at the restaurant, set menus are available in town from €3.50. There are plenty of activities around, so there’s lots to do. The price is $45 per adult and half that for children under 12, including VAT, facilities, and breakfast.

It’s peaceful and tucked away, so you have what you need without going into the centre of Baños. I also appreciated the safety and excellent service. The facilities feel luxurious.

The hotel has a nice view and looks good, but the facilities need attention. There were cobwebs everywhere, my room had leaks, and I found hair on the sheets. Breakfast was served very late.

The pools made it easy to enjoy both fun and relaxation, and the cabins were comfortable and convenient. The landscape blends with that comfort, with all the natural wonders to enjoy. An incredible visit to this inn at the foot of majestic Tungurahua volcano.
