Hostal Amancay

Friends told me about this place. The lunch is good, and I still eat here most days for almuerzo 🍲

The rooms are small and smell musty, there are no towels or hot water, and they are currently refusing to give us a receipt for our expenses. They are also charging us for things they didn't mention at the start. The treatment has been awful and we feel scammed. I wouldn't go here; there are better hotels. This place claims to be unique, but it's truly awful. No matter how often they delete my comment, I'll keep posting about the scam and how they mistreat customers. I didn't say anything offensive.

We felt ripped off. The service was terrible and unpleasant, and the hotel didn't match what we expected or what they offered. There was no hot water, the beds were uncomfortable, and the rooms were small. The beds were even more inadequate for a group. The internet was terrible too. Everything was awful. Don't stay here, there are much better options.

The staff service was very good, and otherwise I thought the hotel was quite nice. It has what you need for a stay. The rooms smell a little damp, though I assume that's because the building is colonial. Security when leaving luggage behind is terrible. They really should have a storage room.
