EDIT: The hotel replied that they'd addressed the beds, and I appreciated them paying attention to my review, so I'm adding a star. The bed was a big part of the problem: it was hard to fall asleep, and I woke up with a stiff back. Everything else was excellent, from the service and staff to the location and look of the place. I feel bad not rating it higher, but the bed matters a lot in a hotel.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the view was beautiful. We could hear and see the river from the window. I had a wonderful stay here on my first trip to Cuenca with my family of five.
