A friendly staff member was at the desk most of the time, but I still wouldn’t stay here again. We lost half an hour driving around the block in terrible traffic because the sign said Hotel Royal while the room keys said Hotel Kemberly. Parking is across a busy one-way street, so getting in and out is a challenge. Water dripped from the AC unit inside the revolving door onto slick tile. You couldn’t see it until you were already stepping on it as you came out, and it nearly caused an accident. I told the front desk, but she barely responded and did nothing about it. Smoke alarms beeped constantly, day and night, because of low batteries. There was no hot water, the bathroom was tiny, and we found a roach on the bed one evening. The bed was the hardest I’ve ever slept on, like sleeping on the floor, and incredibly uncomfortable.
