The Backpacker Hostal

There were lots of roadblocks during the insurrection, and restaurants weren’t open. Even so, the owner went out of his way to make me supper. The location is good, and the parking felt pretty secure. Hot water and good wifi too.

For $12, I thought this was a great deal. I travel a lot, and this was the first backpacker hostal I’d stayed at with a big bed and the bathroom in the room. The staff were super friendly, and the hotel is a good choice if you’re visiting the centrum or this beautiful city. I agree that people can’t expect breakfast and lots of kitchen staff for 12 dollars. If you want something extremely luxury, pay 80$ a night. My whole group, including my friends from Germany, were very pleased. Thank you, see you again soon.

There’s a small kitchen for cooking, the WiFi is good, and it’s clean and close to the town centre. A single person pays 12$. Just keep in mind this isn’t really a backpacker hostel, since there are no dorm beds, only private bedrooms.

This was my first negative review. The electric shower was faulty, with wires burning. When I mentioned it, the staff said they already knew. They hadn’t warned me, and had tried to “bodge” it with tape, which felt dangerous. I asked for a refund and they declined.
