A lovely retreat, with a spa and genuinely warm hospitality.

It has that homey feel, and I’d definitely recommend staying here in Latacunga. There’s gated parking at no extra cost, plus a shared kitchen, hot tub, and laundry facilities.

We booked a room through Booking and told the staff we were going out to eat when we arrived. When we came back, they had already rented out the room we’d reserved. They said they had other rooms, but those were much smaller. Then, instead of taking responsibility for the mix-up, the administration started posting malicious comments on the app after we clearly complained. They seem to have no idea how booking apps work, and the whole administration is a disaster.

It's a lovely, spacious house in a peaceful spot. To me, it feels more like an Airbnb than a hostel.

Even with the cold, the place feels warm and makes for a lovely evening. It's beautiful and cozy, and I'd say it's worth spending the night.
