The restaurant is so popular that the rooms are always sold out, which says a lot about how good it is. The food is the best in Montañita, hands down, with unusual dishes and great service. The decor is also a nice surprise in a party beach town. All the workers were friendly.

The staff were nice, and the bartender and drinks were great. I’d go for drinks only, though. The food was flavorless and really bad, probably the worst I’ve had in Ecuador.

I used to love resonante. Years ago, it had the best food and service, but that’s no longer the case. Now IVA and service aren’t included in the price. The service is awful, and after making you pay those charges, they ask if you want to leave an extra tip. The food is terrible and so expensive. I’m done with it.

We found this place while walking around town, and the welcome was excellent from the moment we came in. Jorge, our smiling host, seated us right away and also waited on us. Drinks came quickly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fun with good music. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Montañita.
