We had a great time here with friends, and the staff were always ready to help. The service was impeccable, and there are plenty of activities, including surf lessons, massages, and fishing. The rooms could use a lot of improvement, though. Also, the restaurant is attached to the hotel but run as a separate business, and that distinction isn't very clear. We were asked to leave because we weren't eating, even though the boundaries weren't obvious.

What bothered me a little was waiting for hot water at times, especially with signs asking guests to conserve water. The beach area is also fairly small, and people would save chairs with towels, then leave for hours. Frustrating, though not the hotel's fault. Otherwise, I was happy with my two nights at Hotel Kundalini. My ocean view room was clean and comfortable, the A/C worked well, WiFi was reliable, and breakfast was very good. The service was friendly and attentive throughout. It's close to shops, groceries, restaurants, and bars, while still quiet enough at night to relax. I'd happily come back.

The hotel restaurant was a highlight, with delicious food and incredible cocktails. We also liked being right on the beach and close to the busy shopping and dining area. There are surfing and yoga classes, plus a steam room. The staff were so lovely. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

The restaurant deserves a review of its own. The food was fresh and genuinely good, not just a forgettable hotel restaurant, and I'd return just to eat there. At Hotel Kundalini, the staff made us feel welcome, and our room was spotless and very comfortable, with a clean, modern look that wasn't overdone. I also liked how the eco-friendly touches, from natural soaps to sustainable choices, felt sincere without being preachy. Relaxed, clean, and thoughtful. I'd stay again.

The massage on site was good, and the WiFi worked well. You can step straight onto the beach and watch the Pacific sunsets, though sand flies bothered us at the restaurant. Yoga is offered only on Wednesday mornings, and I wish it were available every day.
