Comfortable, clean rooms, helpful staff, beautiful grounds full of flowers, birds, and hummingbirds, and wonderful meals. It’s convenient to the airport and great value. The only place to stay near Quito!

The hosts were wonderful, and the grounds were incredibly peaceful. We watched the birds, enjoyed a lovely meal, and had two great massages.

We really liked our stay. The airport pickup and transfer were much appreciated and very convenient, at $15 each way, about the same as Uber or a little cheaper. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was tasty, and we heard birds all the time. The grounds and rooms show how much care the staff have put into the place, and they bring local nature into the experience. It’s a cute hotel that set a lovely tone for our short stay near Quito and our first time in Ecuador. Our bed was very firm and uncomfortable, so I didn’t sleep well. That’s why I took off one star. Some guests might mind the occasional plane noise from the nearby airport, but it didn’t bother us since we use a white noise app all night.

We arrived tired and jet lagged at the start of a long trip, and the warm welcome made us feel right at home. The rustic rooms are individual in style, beautifully and skillfully put together by the owner, and the large garden is full of birds. We enjoyed homely meals in the dining room while watching hummingbirds, plus the pool and table tennis. We also got rides to and from the airport at very unsociable hours. It’s a lovely place to begin and end a holiday, with a lot to recommend it. Great experience.

The gardens are incredibly beautiful, with mountain views above the trees. Staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, the shower was warm, and it was VERY quiet after dark. I also felt very secure inside the property. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend for anyone who needs to be near the airport.
