The first 24 hours here were awful. We arrived to a young woman in her twenties who seemed like she didn't want to be working. After she brought her mother over, we found out they'd overbooked the rooms. The room didn't match the photos: there were bugs on the beds, it was gross, and there wasn't even a lamp. Breakfast was a slice of ham, an egg, and bread, with coffee without milk or water as the only drink choice. After what felt like a 100-mile walk to a beach that looked like every other beach, we didn't want to go on the afternoon excursion, but the mother tried to make us go. They came into our room, took our towels, turned off the A/C, and didn't clean, then somehow made that our problem. Save yourself and go next door to Palace Hotel instead.

I spent three weeks here on a study abroad trip from TN. The staff were amazing, and we even got a cake for one of their birthdays and celebrated together. The food was good, the pool was really nice, and the owner's son helped us translate. I'd definitely come back.

Our Galapagos trip, arranged by GALKIWI, went beyond everything I expected, even after some fantastic trips. PEPO was an amazing guide, fun to be with and packed with information. He clearly cares about making the visit wonderful and takes great care of the experience. With a knowledgeable guide, we saw wildlife, ocean life, volcanic activity, and much more than we'd have experienced on our own. It was the vacation of a lifetime. Words can't really do it justice.
