The walk to Puerto Ayora takes about 15-20 minutes. I had a bad stay here: on the first night, I found a cockroach crawling over the bed and pillows, leaving a trail of dust. The old bed’s wooden frame shifted and made a lot of noise during the night. They also charged an extra fee for paying by card, which we hadn’t been told about before we arrived.

The owner was really kind and helped whenever I needed something. The place is super clean, the rooms are spacious, and everything is well cared for. I’d definitely stay here again and can 100% recommend it!

The owner was super helpful with local suggestions and gave me a map when I arrived. They were also happy to lend me snorkels. I had a really relaxed stay at White House: the rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, and it’s a short walk to the port with lots of useful places nearby. I had such a great time and can’t recommend it enough for a Santa Cruz stay. Muchas gracias x

The owner was so nice and helped us a lot with travel planning and advice. We even extended our stay and couldn’t have been happier. We LOVED this place after a bad first hotel in Puerto Ayora. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a huge, comfortable bed and a properly hot shower. The kitchen guests can use is spotless and fully equipped, and the WiFi is excellent for handling all the travel logistics the Galápagos requires.

It’s a good place to stay, and the location is really nice. Watch your step when the floor is wet, though. I saw two people fall. They say coffee and tea are free, but there wasn’t any sugar.
