Cabana Las Olas

The sea is right there, and the place feels very welcoming. Our room was small but comfortable, made of bamboo, and fit in nicely with the Las Tunas community and its culture. There were three beds, one queen and two bunks, all with mosquito nets, though there aren’t many mosquitoes around. The bathroom was very clean and complete, with hot water and a decent flow. There weren’t any electrical outlets in the bathroom. Wi-Fi was good. It’s a quiet location for relaxing. The community is peaceful, and the long beach is usually uncrowded. You can walk to Ayampe along the beach. Breakfast isn’t included, but if you let the lady know ahead of time, they’ll make it for you. Everyone was very kind. You can hear everything from the other rooms, but most people are only there to sleep, so it wasn’t a major issue. Highly recommended. Enjoy Ecuador!
