The hotel is decent, but the food options become a problem if you get in late. Both room service and the restaurants shut at 10 p.m., which is frustrating when delays can keep busy travelers from arriving on time. I’ve visited Quito often, and I wouldn’t choose this hotel.

The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and there’s a handy place to leave bags while you take day trips. The hotel looks just like its photos. It’s one of the nicest Hiltons I’ve stayed at, and the Hilton rate is very good if you book through the website or app. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone in the area.

The desk team deserves congratulations, especially the concierge staff. They’re the best I’ve ever seen. Well done, 10 stars for them.

The rooms could use an update. Their interiors feel a bit dated, though the facilities themselves are fine. The hotel sits across from a lovely park, and the lobby is what you’d expect. Breakfast is up to Hilton standards, and the staff are always ready to help.

The other staff were friendly, but I didn’t find the women at reception welcoming. The front desk team needs retraining on how to treat guests. The hotel itself was okay.
