The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with hot water in the shower. A hearty breakfast is included in the room price. The location is handy for tourist attractions, public transport, and restaurants.

We had a great stay at the Margarita 2 and would come back. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the people were friendly and helpful. It’s a short walk to old town and many sights, with a small shop next door and a larger grocery store around the corner. There are several flights of stairs, so if stairs are difficult for you, ask for a room on the main level.

We arrived around 1:30 a.m. and were so relieved to find the place open. It’s nice and good value for the low price. The staff are very nice, and the rooms have a dresser, desk, and chairs.

A reservation here doesn’t guarantee you a room if you haven’t paid in advance. Someone who asks for the same room later and pays may get priority.

This was the worst place I stayed in during my 15 days in Ecuador, not just in Quito. The staff were very unfriendly and seemed to be trying to rip me off. They spoke no English. It was noisy, and there was no hot water. I asked them to fix it, but the hot water never came, and since it was late, I gave up and took a cold shower. Avoid this place at any cost.
