The area was really quiet, and getting to transport or things to do didn’t take long. My room was cozy and had a great city view. I’d recommend it.

I ended up staying for a couple of weeks and got to know the people there. I can’t say enough about their hospitality. After I was robbed of everything in Medellin and had no money, the Savoy took me in for three nights. The owner even gave me $20 for taxi rides to and from the US embassy. They’re some of the kindest people in the world.

The staff were helpful, and the king bed was comfortable. The hotel felt a little worn and dated, though the location was quiet. Getting hot water could take as long as an hour and a half.

The food was horrible, and the artisan beer was disgusting. Everything felt old and expensive. For the same price, I think you could find a better hotel.

Quiet spot in a great location. The rooms have a more classic style of decor.
