The room was small but cozy, nicely arranged, and had everything we needed as a couple. It stayed warm throughout the winter thanks to a good heating system. Having kitchen facilities in the room was a real help: there were enough items to make our own meals, which saved money and gave us more flexibility, especially useful for longer stays. Getting around was easy. City Yard Inn is right in town, about 500 meters on foot from shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, and public transport, and the Old Town was walkable too. We had a comfortable, enjoyable city break here. Service was very good. Our room was ready, so they let us check in around three hours before the official time, and daily cleaning kept everything tidy and fresh. City Yard Inn offered good value and practical comforts. We'd recommend it to people visiting Tallinn.

I loved being able to check in through the automated system in about two minutes, even after 2 am. No sleepy conversation with a night manager who's just woken up. The hotel is minimalist, cozy, and well equipped, with decent sized rooms. You're paying for a room and a shower, not a resort, but it's close to downtown and about half the price of similar rooms in a similar location. If you're mainly looking for somewhere to sleep and rest, it's perfect.

The kitchenette is well equipped and really handy, and the staff were lovely and helpful. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Old Town, with comfortable beds and very good rooms. This has become my new favorite place to stay in Tallinn.

There isn't breakfast, but the room was clean and cozy, and it had a kitchenette for cooking plus a water heater for tea or coffee. The hotel is inexpensive and near a tram stop. Ferry Terminal D is around a 15-minute walk if you're travelling to or from Helsinki.
