I stayed at Larsen for almost two years, and leaving was a very disappointing experience. I left the room in much the same condition as when I arrived, but they charged me €60 for a stained mattress protector that had already been stained at move-in. I hadn't reported that small issue then, so they billed me for it anyway. There was also a mandatory €94 cleaning charge. If you have to stay here, document every little thing when you move in, or you could be charged for problems that were already there.

The room was clean when I stayed, although one towel was dirty. Since I was alone, I just used another one. With the wall-mounted bed lowered, the room feels small, but there's plenty of space once it's lifted. I was surprised by how well sound was blocked. It's fairly quiet here, near the edge of an industrial area rather than the city center, but that didn't affect day-to-day comfort. A Lidl nearby has basic groceries, and the kitchenette works well enough for cooking. You need to download an app to get settled in. That's handy in some ways, though having your phone run out of battery while you're outside could be a problem. On the 8th floor there's a quiet spot where you can work or sit on a bean bag and look out into the distance.

Getting around is easy, with bus stops nearby, two or three markets close by, and a few shopping malls not far away. The Old Town is about 20 minutes by bus. The rooms were fine, if a bit cramped, as expected, and there are fun events. Before moving in, the staff were helpful, but after I arrived there was very little communication when I needed assistance. I'm still waiting for my washing machine to be fixed two months later. They charge for a deep clean regardless of how clean you leave the room, yet mine was dirty when I arrived, with macadamia nuts and pills coming out of the couch. I expected more for the price. Events and sushi classes don't make up for basic maintenance and cleanliness not being taken care of.

Clean and quiet, with a terrace on top of the building. The app locks and unlocks the doors. We had trouble getting the front door lock to work, and it took a few minutes to get the app working. The other locks caused no problems.
