ibis Tallinn Center Hotel

The airport bus stops right outside, and the staff were delightful. Our room was warm, spacious, and clean, with a very comfortable bed. There was a practical hairdryer that actually worked, plus a shower with both a fixed head and a handheld one, much easier for washing your hair. We also had a TV, a fridge, and pretty much everything we needed, all at sensible prices. Excellent value. We had a perfect stay, and I’d happily return and recommend it.

The €6 price for a 700 ml bottle of water felt really high, and the hotel might want to reconsider whether its products are priced competitively. That’s my one picky point. We travel often as a family, two adults and a teenager, and it was such a relief to find a room actually designed with three beds. Usually we get a double room with an extra bed instead. These rooms are very practical, with lots of power sockets, hooks, and storage, and sleep quality was pretty decent. The breakfast buffet was very good. Lunch and dinner are available at the restaurant or lounge, and tea and coffee are on the house. The hotel is central, with a bus stop outside for tourist spots, and only a seven-minute taxi ride from the airport.

The hotel was so conveniently placed, close to Tallinn’s main attractions and important places, with a bus stop right outside that made getting around easy. I felt well looked after, too: the staff were incredibly friendly and ready to help, and water, tea, and coffee were available at all times. Breakfast deserves its own mention. It was the richest, tastiest, and most varied hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. I had an excellent stay, enjoyed every part of it, and would gladly return or recommend it to friends.

The room felt peaceful, and I really liked having a sauna in it. It was clean, and the sauna got hot enough. Old Town is about a 20-minute walk away, so it isn’t very close, but I still had a nice stay.
