6/10
The location was the best part: about five minutes from the Old Town, ferry port, and a lovely district for shopping and food. For what we paid, the hotel felt very reasonable and I left satisfied, though three stars seems fair. The beds were comfortable enough, the room warm, and the bathroom basic but sufficient. Service was okay overall, but the bathroom problem we reported never got fixed. I also would have liked a safe in the room. Nothing luxurious or special, just a perfectly reasonable hotel.

The reception staff were lovely and helped as much as they could. For a work stay, the hotel was practical, but the room was missing things I expected, including a kettle. I asked for a double bed and instead got two singles pushed together, with two single duvets.

Breakfast wasn't fresh. The vegetables seemed like they were from the day before, and the pancakes were hard and dry. The room was unbearably hot and we couldn't adjust the temperature, so sleeping at night was difficult. Strong light came in through the windows, which faced the inner courtyard, from lights above.

10/10
We had a great view and the hotel was very clean. It's a ten-minute walk to both the Old Town and the Port. We didn't try the food, though the buffets looked good. There's also a great little cafe, Alexela, right outside, where we had breakfast each morning.

6/10
The location, cleanliness, and plentiful, delicious breakfast were the hotel's big strengths. What let it down was how reception staff communicated. We were there for a short holiday and hoped for a warm welcome, but check-in brought abrupt questions about our names, and at checkout we got a cold confirmation that everything had been paid. The young man at breakfast reception was the only person who made us feel welcome.
