The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms were clean with a modern shower. The staff were incredible. This was the first place in Egypt where it didn’t feel like they were just after our money. They really cared about our experience and wanted us to love their country. We loved staying here.

Mohamed was always available and keen to help. We arranged for their car to collect us in Aswan for a weekend in Abu Simbel, and the driver was excellent and the service impeccable. The place is lovely and very close to the temple. Highly recommended.

We didn’t stay here, but stopped for breakfast after visiting the temple. Mohammed was super welcoming and friendly. The traditional breakfast was great, with omelette, falafel and beans.

The staff were extremely accommodating. We had a nice guest room, number 202, and comfortable common areas both indoors and outside. The location is great, a 5-10 minute walk from the Temples of Abu Simbel. Breakfast was fine but nothing special, and the dinner we had onsite was okay, nothing memorable.

The rooms are very tiny, but most hotels in this area are extremely basic and still charge super expensive rates. Given that, this is a good option if you decide to spend the night in the village. It’s the closest hotel to Abu Simbel temple, so the location is very good. The service is good overall, and their restaurant is awesome. The restaurant is beautiful and definitely worth visiting even if you don’t stay at the hotel.
