Sleeping under the open sky and watching the stars in peace made me glad I chose this experience. Seeing and feeling the White Desert and nature’s art was wonderful. We went in April, and the daytime wasn’t too hot or the night too cold.

Sleeping in the middle of the desert was amazing. Ibrahim showed us the Black and White Desert, then made dinner and breakfast for us. A great activity, totally recommended!

We took a one-night tour from Cairo, passing the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, and White Desert. It’s a long drive, but the scenery was beautiful and very unique. Staying overnight in the desert made the trip worth it.

Natural sandstone sculptures fill this amazing, otherworldly landscape, and every view was stunning. Definitely add it to your bucket list. If you’re in Cairo, set aside a few days to head out into the Sahara Desert.
