Palmera Azur Resort

The rooms are falling apart, the bathroom smells like sewage, and the towels are extremely old. On top of that, $300 was stolen from our bag in the room. After we filed a police report and involved management, the hotel had to pay us back, but in Egyptian pounds. Avoid this place at all costs.

The food was mediocre, and guests have to pay to use the billiards and table tennis facilities. The activity areas are fairly small, though there are three medium sized pools and enough green space for all the rooms. The beach is very good and well maintained, and the staff's service was the best part.

The bathroom had a bad smell that wouldn't go away, and we were charged more than the offer we found on Agoda. The resort food was tasteless and even gave us stomach issues. Cleanliness was below par too. It was a disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Privacy was zero because the hotel was crowded with people from outside, and the service was very poor. We asked for rooms next to each other so our family could stay together, but they wouldn't help with our request. The receptionists were aggressive and unfriendly from the start, acting like officers instead of welcoming guests. They didn't seem to know how to treat people, and they don't even speak English. I regret paying so much for such an unworthy stay. I'm writing this for anyone considering the hotel: please don't.
