Bella Hostel is right at Midan Talat Harb in central Cairo, so restaurants, galleries, and all sorts of places are close by. It’s handy if you don’t want to spend ages getting around. The team, Mirna, Sahar, and Om Mohamed, made us feel welcome and went out of their way to help. The place was very clean, and the rooms and bathrooms were well kept. Water pressure was a little gentle, but it fit the vintage feel. The kitchen has what you need for a quick meal or breakfast, and the views are great, as shown in the pictures. It’s not the place for someone after luxury, but if you want an authentic vintage Cairo atmosphere, you’ll love it. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend Bella Hostel for experiencing Cairo in a genuine way.

For the price, I thought it was fair. Around 20 euros a night got me a clean bed and a decent shower. The hostel is clean, quiet, and in a great spot in central Cairo. I don't get all the complaints. Mohamad at reception is a sweetheart and helps a lot.

The rooms are clean and have the essentials, and the service is great. They're fine for what you pay. The entrance is the tricky part: it's an unmarked, rather sketchy staircase, so a sign at street level would help.

Mosquitoes were awful, and the room photos on the app are fake. The staff were unprofessional and the service was very poor. The one elevator wasn't working, even though the hostel is on the third and fourth floors, so be careful if you're carrying bags. With rooms and service this bad, the central Cairo location doesn't make up for it. I wouldn't choose this for a couple or a work trip. A bad experience, and I won't be back.

SCAM! I booked the apartment listed as "Casa do Cairo" at 31 champillion road on booking.com, which I believe has the same owner as this Airbnb. I was given a completely different place. It was very dirty, stinky, had no sheets, and was extremely low quality overall. After a lot of blablabla, the owner made me pay cash for the first night even though I didn't want to sleep there. Please avoid booking with this scammer, whether it's Bella Casa Hostel or Casa do Cairo.
