The staff did what they could to help, but I’d say this place suits a quick stop more than a longer stay. Backpacking young travelers and groups are probably the most convenient fit. It’s on the 4th floor with no sign at the entrance, though the location is amazing. Amenities are poor: the building is old, the 2 elevators are often tied up moving cloth and goods for the companies inside, and breakfast is very simple. The water isn’t always hot, there’s no soap or shampoo in the bathroom, part of the shower doesn’t work, and the TV only has 10 local sports channels. After I checked in, management tried to cancel the booking through booking.com to avoid paying their commission.

The location is really good, close to everything, and being able to check in at 2am after a long trip was a lifesaver. It was clean and good, though I think it could be a little cheaper to match expectations. I missed breakfast, so I can’t judge it.

We chose this place for the pyramid view listed on booking.com, but after we checked in, we were told a building had gone up a couple months ago and blocked the view. The manager was nice, but this wasn’t what we thought we’d booked. They asked us to cancel the reservation to get a discounted rate, which would mean we couldn’t post a review online. That felt like completely false advertising, and it shouldn’t be allowed. There is NO LONGER A PYRAMID VIEW.

The price was really good for the service, and I’ve recommended the place to friends and family. The room was very clean, breakfast was excellent, and all the staff were friendly and ready to help.
