It's a cheap place in a good spot right beside tahrir square, and I couldn't find anywhere else nearby at that price. For a night or two when you just need somewhere to crash, it can work. The room, though, was tiny, like a cabin, and right across from reception. People talked loudly there, so I couldn't sleep. Smoking was allowed too, and the smell hung around most of the day. I only stayed one night and left very early, so I didn't try the food.
