New President Zamale

After our trip to Giza, we chose to stay with them again, which probably says enough. It's not completely quiet, but it does give you a break from the busy tourist area. A good place to recharge if you're in Egypt for more than two weeks. The hotel is nice and the staff are great, especially Mohamed and Ahmed at reception.

Dahy stayed in touch before, during, and after our time in Cairo, even while we were in southern Egypt, and I felt confident in how he coordinated everything. We had a problem with one guide, but he offered a resolution that worked for us. His colleague Mahmoud at President Hotel was also a big help arranging transportation and guides. Our group spent a week at New President Hotel, went south, then came back for one more night before flying out. Both rooms were very clean. Each morning we had a great continental breakfast at the sister hotel, President Hotel, and they also have a bakery there for late-night sweets. The cars and vans were clean and newer, with good air conditioning. Drivers arrived on time and I felt safe with each of them. I'd recommend contacting Dahy before a Cairo visit to arrange transport and guides, and staying at New President Hotel. Even if you're staying elsewhere, I believe Dahy can still help with those arrangements. Planning that part of our trip had been challenging, so we felt lucky to find him.

I was there in 2018, and I still think about the stay. The atmosphere, comfort, and hospitality all made a lasting impression. I hope I can make it back soon. It's one of those places I remember fondly.

The rooms are spacious, and there's even a telephone in the toilet. I stayed last month and found the staff welcoming and friendly. The hotel is good, in a lovely spot in Zamalek.
