Cheap and good enough if you need somewhere to leave your luggage safely and sleep for a night.

I stayed here recently and found it very decent, clean, and well organized. It’s in an old building on the fifth floor, right in downtown Cairo. Don’t judge the place by the entrance, there’s a lot to take in once you get upstairs. It isn’t fancy, but there are tiny rooms for backpackers as well as larger ones with king beds. The service was the best part. Mr. Mahmoud, the office Manager, and Mohamed, Nada, Basma, and Bellman Mustafa were all great. Miss. Dunia made a lovely cup of Turkish coffee. The rooms come with a decent oriental breakfast, though kids should bring their own cereal. I’d love to see Shofan (oat mill) or Corn flex added to the menu. It works well for couples or groups on the go, and the Wi-fi is strong. Cairo Metro stations and plenty of commercial outlets are all around. Thanks to Paradise group for a wonderful stay.

Hend and Mahmoud at reception were so friendly and helpful, and Donia cooked wonderful meals that made my visit more enjoyable. The location is central and handy for most major sights, and the rooms are clean with good value for money. My room was near the reception and kitchen, so mornings could be noisy. I also had to ask specifically for housekeeping instead of having it done automatically. Still, it’s a good budget choice if you want a central base.

They ask you to transfer the money and confirm your booking at least a day before arrival. But when you reach out to confirm, nobody answers. If someone does pick up, they say they’ll send a Vodafone cash number, then nothing arrives.
