4s Hotel Dahab

I wouldn’t recommend 4S Hotel. There was no Wi-Fi or proper service, and the reception and service staff were rude and seemed to know very little about hospitality. The room was filthy, with ants and cockroaches everywhere. Breakfast was poor in both quality and choice, well below basic standards. One of my worst hotel stays.

The worst part was waking up the first night itching and finding the room infested with bed bugs. The staff barely apologized and offered to move me, which did nothing to undo the experience. The hotel feels dirty and neglected, and management seemed not to care about guests’ well-being. I’ve stayed in plenty of budget hotels, but this was the most unhygienic and poorly managed by far. I can’t understand how it passes health inspections. I’ll never stay at 4S Hotel Dahab again, and I’d tell anyone considering it to avoid it. I don’t want to bring home any more bloodsucking souvenirs.

For a modest hotel, the 4S is a great choice for a family with kids. The price and service more than make up for the fairly basic breakfast, which was adequate but not hearty. Mahmoud the manager was very patient, helpful, and understanding, and made our stay a real treat. The rooms were clean, the pool was cute, and the kids loved the slides. There are different ways to stay in Sinai, from the beach to an expensive resort, and this is a good modest option. We’d definitely recommend it.

It’s a good affordable place, with clean, decent rooms, though the furniture is old. There’s just one pool, and the aqua games are in the deeper section, so kids shouldn’t play there alone. The hotel has no beach, but a car ride to the public beach takes about 5 minutes. It’s a 1.2 kilometer walk from "Tourist walkway". The place itself is small and quiet, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
