The beach was a highlight, huge, beautiful, and perfect for relaxing, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. At a 3-star hotel, Happy Life Village Dahab exceeded what we expected. Everything was organized and comfortable. We needed to change rooms, and the reception team arranged it quickly and comfortably. Special thanks to our guide Karim from Join Up! for sorting out a disputed issue quickly and professionally. We had a fantastic vacation and left with only positive impressions.

The massages and the trips we booked from the man near reception were the best parts of our stay. The setting is beautiful, with wonderful sea and mountain views, a nice reef for snorkeling, and lots of fish. It’s far from shops, though there’s a free bus to Dahab. There are three pools, and the rooms are nice, so the hotel could be good. The main problems were the restaurant and bar. The restaurant was often dirty, the food usually cold, and breakfast very limited. One day they made pizza by the pool, but guests couldn’t take any because they wanted photos for Facebook and social media first. It seemed prepared for pictures more than for guests, and it was gone after only a few minutes. During our first two days, drinks like vodka and beer were often unavailable. The alcohol tasted bubbly and watered down. When we asked for 2-4 shots, staff rudely asked “why?” despite seeing we were a group. Many guests complained, and things improved a little later. Some staff were nice, others very rude. I know this isn’t an expensive hotel, and I’ve stayed at other 3-star places, but they shouldn’t offer all inclusive if they can’t provide good service. The Facebook photos look amazing, but the reality is very different. I think Google and TripAdvisor overrate it, and it deserves no more than 2-3 stars. I also noticed negative comments on the hotel’s Facebook page seem to get deleted.

The rooms need renovating, though from what I understand, the work is underway. The views are out of this world, with the hotel set between the sea and the mountains, and having a coral reef right by you is a huge bonus. What really made the place for me was the staff. They were the friendliest, most helpful bunch I’ve come across in a long time. I’d definitely recommend it if you want somewhere beautiful and quiet to relax. Get a massage while you’re there, it’s worth it.

I had a wonderful stay at Happy Life Hotel, and the restaurant was exceptional. My son has a milk allergy, and each day they had a suitable meal ready for him at both breakfast and dinner. Chef Karim put a lot of effort in at breakfast, Supervisor Chef Ibrahim was incredibly kind, and waiter Ali was always smiling and ready to help. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it for a unique, comfortable stay.

The food was delicious and absolutely fine, with loads of fresh, healthy options. Mori and !? from the tour reps at reception, plus the restaurant staff and chefs, were all great. Thank you so much ❤️ The animation girls ran good daily activities for all ages, and everyone seemed happy with them. I especially loved the hotel’s dogs and kittens. They were friendly and well behaved with all the guests, and made me feel at home. There are lovely, well-kept gardens, clean bedrooms, several pools and bars, and a nice private beach with stunning scenery all around. Local camel rides are available nearby at the beach. The hotel is listed as 3-star, but could easily be 4-star. As a solo traveler at a family hotel, I felt okay, and it was a quiet period.
