The constant music, during the day and late into the night, made it very hard to sleep. That was just one part of a stay where the problems kept adding up, and it became my worst hotel experience so far. The beach was full of accumulated rubbish. The pools were dirty, and the water was so cold that we couldn’t use them despite the warm weather. Along the paths between rooms, used plates and trays were often left outside for a long time. The room key cards kept failing, so I had to go back to reception repeatedly to reactivate them. Wi-Fi was extremely slow and often didn’t work. Dinner was frequently bland, and I had stomach discomfort after eating it. Service was slow overall. When I called room service about the disconnected TV cable, it took an unreasonable amount of time to get help.

The people at Porto Marina Resort Alamein made us feel like family, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. From booking through arrival, the welcome was warm and professional. Mostafa Medani and Eman Samir at the front office were friendly, efficient and attentive, and Bakr escorted us to the room and made sure everything was in order. Hossam and Ibrahim from Room Service kept the room spotless and comfortable. At Studio Masr Restaurant, part of the Tropicana Group as I learned, the service was welcoming and attentive. Mr. Maged Deghidy was a smart, professional leader, and Mohamed El Naggar served us with real passion and integrity. Shawki, Ahmed, Mahmoud from Coffecino, and the talented chefs made every meal enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team for such a pleasant, warm and relaxing stay. Egypt is fortunate to have people with this kind of talent and leadership in leisure and tourism, including Amer Group. All the best!

The animation team was fantastic, and the beach was great, with different activities. We tried stretching and yoga and really enjoyed it. The restaurant was nice too, and the main dishes were especially good. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite and always smiling, which made our stay comfortable. The pool was decent, though it clearly seemed designed for kids. There’s no water park or slides, so energetic little ones could get bored. Still, we had a wonderful time, especially as this was our first visit.

The room was spotless and set up very comfortably, and the housekeeping and service staff were efficient and friendly throughout. At reception, Mr. Moustafa gave us a warm welcome and got us checked in quickly, making the arrival stress free. Ms. Israa from Public Relations was kind, professional and made sure our needs were met, going above and beyond. Porto Marina Resort & Spa exceeded what I expected. I’m grateful to the team for their care and hard work, and I’ll treasure the memories. I hope to return soon.
