Ali Pasha Hotel El Gouna

Wi-Fi was a pleasant surprise. In El Gouna, I could connect once and stay online through the commercial areas and all the way into my bedroom. Breakfast at Tandoor was excellent too, with a great range of good-quality vegan choices. I left a separate glowing review for Tandoor. The courtyards are especially peaceful, with palm trees and bright bougainvillea, and birds perch and nest there. It made a lovely soundtrack for morning coffee. I also enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The traditional architecture gives the property a real sense of place while still feeling comfortable and modern. We left feeling refreshed. The staff were attentive and thoughtful. When we had an early excursion to Luxor, Cairo, or island hopping, they prepared breakfast boxes for us to take along. The place was clean, comfortable, and well located. It made for an easy, authentic-feeling stay, and I’d love to come back.

We’ve only got a few hours left at The Ali Pasha before heading home, and I’m sad to leave. The decor is gorgeous, the rooms are cleaned to a high standard, and we’ve felt right at home. Everyone has been so warm and welcoming, from the front desk to the restaurant team. Nothing was too much trouble, and they did it all with the friendliest smiles.

The location made everything easy to reach, with restaurants, shops, and activities close by in the heart of El Gouna. The hotel itself is charming and full of photogenic details. I enjoyed just walking around and taking in the design and atmosphere. Breakfast at Tandoori was consistently fresh and excellent, and the waiters deserve special mention for their lovely service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful from the moment we arrived. A small coffee table in the standard rooms would make them more comfortable, and gluten-free bread at breakfast would help guests with dietary restrictions. Still, we had a perfect stay at Ali Pasha Hotel. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting El Gouna.

The location was just right, and the relaxed atmosphere made for a restful stay. Albaer was especially welcoming and always ready to help, as was the rest of the genuinely friendly staff. My room was spotless, comfortable, and kept in beautiful condition. A great stay from beginning to end, highly recommended!
