The rooftop seating area was absolutely breathtaking. Rooms were clean but very small, and the staff were friendly and happy to help. We got very bad food poisoning from the rooftop cafe, where the food was barely warm. I’m not sure whether the cafe is run by the hotel, but that’s where breakfast and the other meals came from. The tours booked directly through them were expensive. I’d use them again if I had to, though I may be judging too harshly because of the food poisoning. It’s been five days and I still feel very ill.

I booked through booking because I was going to the pyrmaids festival. They made me cancel on Whatsapp, saying they didn’t have enough electricity for all the rooms. They should have checked everything. There were only hours left before the festival, and I felt really upset. They acted like they were lying and were rude.

The pyramids view from Blue Scarab hotel is the best in Giza, and they even let us check out late. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so welcoming. Check-in was easy, and our room was spotless, comfortable, and really nice. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

The terrace is the highlight, with the pyramids so close it feels like you could touch them. Sunset up there is mesmerizing. The staff are friendly, kind, helpful, and speak English well. They can arrange pretty much anything you want to do around the city.

They sell rooms they don't actually have on a non-refundable rate, then offer a crummy replacement so you'll turn it down and they'll keep your money. Cheaters.
