King Pyramids Hotel

The rooftop view of the pyramids was a highlight. I got up early to watch the sunrise over them, and it felt surreal. The hotel is affordable, and the location and staff’s genuine hospitality more than made up for the simple facilities. If you want a luxury or high-end stay, this probably isn’t the right place, but for the price it’s good value. My flight got in very late. After Orbitz contacted the hotel for me, they confirmed they could check me in 24 hours a day, which I appreciated. Dien, if I’ve got his name right, welcomed me warmly when I arrived, and all the receptionists I met were friendly and helpful. Noura also deserves a mention for arranging transportation during my stay and being consistently attentive and professional. She’s a real asset. A good affordable option for the location, service, and views.

The staff made the stay feel comfortable. Every one of them was super friendly and happy to chat. Hotel organized excursions, especially those arranged by Noura, were professional and reasonably priced. They were private tours, not group trips. Thanks to Noura, Nur, Sasa, and all the others. The hotel is reasonably priced and clean, about 8/10 for cleanliness, though the furnishings are very basic and could use improvement. Little fixes like the cabinet doors would help. The rooftop bar and restaurant has a great view, and the simple food and drinks were good. I suggested sliding panels to fully enclose the terrace against the wind, since it currently only has half-height protection. Management said this is already planned.

The restaurant terrace had a great view, with the pyramids right there alongside the lovely local food. I also really liked the room: functional, with different lighting options, and facing a themed pool area. Staff were always around to help with lots of options. If you need a tour guide or a taxi, just ask and they can sort it out quickly. I had an amazing stay at the Nun pyramids!

Dinner was freshly cooked and served hot, and the food was very good. Breakfast was continental but filling. The restaurant had a great view of the pyramids, while the rooftop bar offered a breathtaking one. We weren’t sure about the hotel’s location at first, but the staff were so friendly and helpful. They even escorted me to a nearby ATM. The room was very nice, though wet room bathrooms aren’t really my thing.
