Marwa Palace Hotel

The noise in our room was unbearable, so we asked to move after leaving at 9 a.m. Staff agreed, but when we got back at 6 p.m., nothing had changed. We had also told the hotel we had lots of luggage and booked an airport transfer. They promised a van, then sent a 4x4 that wasn't suitable for us. My lipstick disappeared from the room after I used it before going out. I reported it right away and searched carefully, but it was nowhere to be found. Staff said there was “no solution” and that they would only check the room. They also said there would be no refund or compensation. The lipstick was expensive for me, but the bigger issue is the security of guests' belongings in a locked room. I was so worried that I bought padlocks and locked all my suitcases. This was a very bad stay, and I won't return. The lack of accountability and care for guests' security was unacceptable. I expect action and a proper resolution.

The location was handy, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and we could see the pyramids in the distance from the breakfast room on the top floor. The hotel was very clean, the price felt fair for what we got, and the customer service was top notch.

The restaurant was the highlight for us. The food and staff were great, and Hesham and Ahmed made us feel so welcome and at home. The view from there was fantastic, too. It was good value and close to the main tourist areas. Some rooms, especially in the older part of the hotel, feel dated, and the bathrooms are awkward, with a poorly designed shower. The front desk team and porters were very good. The AC worked okay but was noisy. The pool was clean, decent, and warm.

Racha deserves a special mention. She made my coffee with so much care and friendliness, and was approachable, smart, and always ready to help. She really added to the stay. I spent three days at **Marawa Palace Hotel**. The place was spotless, the atmosphere was warm, and the staff greeted me with big smiles and a genuine willingness to help. My room was very clean, and the cleaning team did a great job each day.
