What upset me most was how the property handled my questions about the charge. I booked through Booking.com, where the price displayed in the app before my trip was lower than what the hotel later charged on its own POS terminal. The confirmation email only confirmed the booking and showed no final price. Nobody mentioned a higher amount during the stay or at checkout, and the hotel gave no explanation, breakdown, or advance notice when charging it. When I raised the difference, they said the full price had been clearly shown on Booking.com from the start. That wasn’t true. The higher amount only appeared after my stay, and I have screenshots of the lower price shown in the app before I travelled. Their response felt misleading. They then tried to put the responsibility on Booking.com, although the hotel processed the payment. If a hotel charges more than the amount shown at booking, it should explain the difference. They refused to do so and were dismissive, which struck me as unprofessional and poor customer care. I’ve filed complaints with Booking.com and my bank, with evidence showing the difference between the displayed price and the amount charged. The situation caused avoidable stress and wasted time. I can’t recommend the property. The lack of transparency, refusal to take responsibility, and way they handled this left me feeling that guest trust isn’t a priority.

After a day at the Pyramids and in Cairo, we spent a night here and had a lovely stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the Pyramids. The hotel itself was comfortable too, and the staff were very friendly. The tour guide was especially helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed a nice breakfast on the rooftop.

The pyramid view is a special highlight, and the hotel is clean, with working air conditioning and a good breakfast. But the traffic on the busy main road outside carries on all night. During my three day stay, trucks honking and motorcyclists kept waking me. Even with the windows shut and earplugs in, I couldn’t sleep. The hotel itself is basically fine, but the noise was a real problem.

We had a great view of the pyramids over breakfast, and the location was perfect. The staff were attentive and happy to help with anything. The room had all the amenities we needed for a few days.
