Guest House Paradise Top Roof Pyramids View

We were taken to the wrong location after travel delays caused us to miss our taxi. Booking.com lists two different places under the same name, Paradise Pyramids View Inn. One has a pool and better facilities, and the price is quite different. Around 5:00 AM on July 19, reception at the wrong hotel called the real Paradise Pyramids View Inn for the correct address. To our surprise, the staff gave them the address of the cheaper second location, without a pool and with worse facilities. We didn't learn the truth until around noon, when we asked about the pool and they admitted we were in the wrong place. We were later taken to the correct location, but there weren't two rooms available. Instead, we got one room with three beds. It was dirty and in poor condition, as was the bathroom. The shower had mold and the floor was wet. I took photos. We felt deliberately misled. Listing two places under one hotel name is confusing and unprofessional. I reported this to Booking.com before leaving; they said they'd investigate, but I haven't heard back. My advice is to avoid this hotel. The chance of being misled and disappointed is too high.

We lasted one day before leaving. There were so many problems. The staff were rude and told us nothing in person about breakfast, times, or services. They did communicate quite a bit on WhatsApp, but that doesn't make up for the poor in-person service. I'd spent hours finding a hotel with a pool, then discovered we'd been put in an offsite location and would have to be driven to the pool. The beds were hard as rocks. The elevator broke, and after being told repairs would take half an hour, we waited over an hour before giving up on our reservations and hauling heavy bags down the stairs. Somehow oil from the repairs was leaking through the walls and across the floors. A mosque with huge loudspeakers was very close by. The so-called rooftop restaurant was a joke: the person there spoke no English, so communication was impossible, and I wouldn't have eaten there anyway. The hotel is down a dark, unpaved alley strewn with garbage. Any one of these things alone might not have put us off, but altogether it was too much. We moved to another hotel and had a completely different experience. I wouldn't stay here even to save money. Too many issues!

It was a pleasant stay, and the staff were very cooperative, especially Daria. I'd stay again.

The rooms were clean and the staff very cooperative. The rooftop also has a very good view of the pyramids.
