The rooftop restaurant is the real highlight. You can see the pyramids and sphinx from up there, and it's stunning, especially when the nearby mosque calls to prayer. It feels like real Egypt. The hotel sits among the shops, with a small mini market next door whose owner is friendly and useful for room snacks. An ATM is about a two-minute walk away. If you want a sealed-off, sterile hotel away from local life, this place isn't for you. Our room was comfortable, clean, and reasonably modern, with a rainfall shower. The window was tiny, which disappointed me, though of course not every room can have a view. During our two nights, the room wasn't cleaned or made up. We had to ask for things like replacement toilet rolls. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the woman at reception. Breakfast is limited, with a continental/Egyptian style: boiled eggs and falafel, but no other cooked food. Dinner has a generous menu, though they only take cash. No cards and no charging it to your room.

The noise in the hallway at 00.30 one night was the worst part. I woke to what sounded almost like shouting and was frightened in the moment, before realizing people were just being very loud. The soundproofing could be better. The hotel is solid, though for the price I wouldn't expect too much. Our room was clean but had only a very small window, not a proper one. The cleaners removed the dirty towels after night one and didn't leave clean replacements, so we had to ask reception. We also requested a safe; one was brought in, but it wasn't really connected, and they gave us a master key to lock it. Dinner was okay, but communication was a problem. We asked for soup both nights and were ignored each time. They brought it later only on the second night.

The family room didn't work well for four people. Most of the light bulbs were out, so it felt dim, and the only window looked onto a wall. Its curtain was hanging off, too. We asked for more towels after being given just two shower towels and two hand towels, but none arrived, and the lights weren't fixed. Breakfast was very poor, with only one boiled egg and food catered to non-English speakers. Cairo's location wasn't good either. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We stayed a week at the start of Oct 2025, in room 503, the Executive Suite Panoramic Pyramids View & Jacuzzi. It's my first time in Egypt. I wrote a more detailed review on Trip adviser. I'd give the stay 3 stars because the drawbacks outweighed the good points. The view is why the location gets 2 stars: it's close to the pyramids, but the outside area wasn't good. The suite was the one place we could relax, and the room gets 4 stars from me. It seemed to be among the better options nearby for noise and location, and it was the room furthest from outside noise. The hotel was pretty clean. Staff were fine and brought extra toiletries when we needed them. Service gets 4 stars, rather than 3, because the receptionist at check-in carried our suitcases up one flight when the lift only went to the fourth floor. There are privacy problems in this room. The hotel across from the view is very close, so people might be able to look in. Women may want to bring a little top or bikini set, or keep the curtains closed, which defeats the point of the view. Men might want shorts, too. The shower has a huge open window, meaning people can see you on the toilet or in the shower. Some website photos aren't accurate. Most seem right, but the bath in room 503 is shown as a double jacuzzi when it isn't. The bath/jacuzzi also takes ages to fill. The umbrellas across from the view spoil it, as other reviews have said. Breakfast was minimal and very poor. There was no choice, just whatever they gave us, and it tasted dry, like it had been left out. We were glad we had breakfast bars, since there aren't decent food shops nearby. We skipped dinner because of the breakfast issue and because we saw and heard rats. They were running around near where the food comes from. Since we were on the top floor, rats also ran across the ceiling, as other reviewers mentioned. One night somebody tried to get into our room, which made us wary. The hotel isn't fully locked, so anyone can get into reception, use the stairs or lift, and try a room. There wasn't always anyone watching the front desk. Keep the room locked. The WiFi kept dropping, which was frustrating because the hotel's location made us reluctant to leave, so we had to stay in. There weren't many plug points either, a small issue, but bring an extension cable or multi-plug.

Breakfast is included and served from 8-10 am. The view is awesome, and getting one of the rooms that overlooks it is so worth it.
