The long sandy beach was lovely for walks, and there’s a big aqua park for kids, plus a spa, gym, and shops right in the resort. The grounds are kept beautifully, and the staff are warm and quick to help. Food was a highlight too, with so many tasty dishes that we couldn’t settle on a favorite. The rooms may feel closer to three or four stars than five, as people often say about Egyptian hotels, but that didn’t take away from a relaxing, very pleasant holiday.

The location is isolated, around 30 minutes by taxi from Hurghada, with nothing nearby. I’d avoid staying here if you want an enjoyable holiday. In my view, this is three stars at most, nowhere near five. Food was the worst I’ve had at an all-inclusive. For a whole week it barely changed. Hard potatoes, fish that wasn’t cooked through, and watery soups with a few vegetable cubes. Around 95% of the choices were vegetables, so a vegetarian might be fine, but I was hungry much of the time because I like meat. After we complained, the restaurant manager invited us to the Mexican restaurant as a “VIP” experience. That was somehow my worst meal yet. I’ve seen a child make better food. The food was just deeply disappointing. The pools were another problem. Only one is heated, so it stayed packed all day, while the others were freezing. The aquapark was nearly empty because the water was so cold you might catch a cold after a few minutes. Our room looked unfinished and badly kept. Paint was coming off the walls, curtains were ripped, and the balcony doors didn’t seal properly. The bathroom was in poor shape too, with damaged laminate, dirty tiles, and a bad shower area. There was no real entertainment or pool atmosphere, despite the hotel advertising activities. The “animators” mostly walked around asking for reviews, watching guests write them and pushing for positive comments by saying their manager read every review. I don’t see why I should make up praise. It also seemed geared toward Russian and German guests. They wore different wristbands and appeared to get better treatment. At reception, one man was especially rude and unpleasant, and made me feel like I was being punished instead of being a paying guest.

The beach was one of the prettiest I’ve seen in Hurghada, with clear water, lovely views, and a clean, peaceful stretch that was great for swimming and relaxing. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and the showers had strong pressure and hot water, which felt good after a long day outside. There’s a grand main hall, a fun water park, and a cute children’s castle. It works well for families, yet doesn’t feel like too much for adults. The hotel is beautifully arranged and manages a nice balance of fun and elegance. I was especially impressed by the food. Several restaurants serve four kinds of cuisine, so there was always something different to try, and everything stayed delicious. Gravity Hotel was comfortable, varied, and had a lovely atmosphere. I’d happily come back with a partner, friends, or family, and recommend it to anyone visiting Hurghada.

The bar’s alcohol was by far the biggest letdown, and it really lowered my impression of the stay. The drinks were very low quality and had a strong, unpleasant smell like homemade spirits. Most cocktails were undrinkable. I knew local alcohol came with all-inclusive, having experienced it in places like Turkey and Spain, but I’d never had such poor quality. Sunrise nearby also serves local alcohol in its all-inclusive package, and what they offer was noticeably better and perfectly drinkable. So this seemed to be about the standard this hotel chose, rather than local alcohol itself. After about two days, when guests arriving for Orthodox holidays began checking in, the bar switched to different bottles with different labels. The drinks visibly improved. It was hard not to wonder if the alcohol standard depended on which guests were staying. I stayed for 7 days (1.01.-07.01.2026). The hotel and staff were good, with clean facilities, well-kept areas, and friendly, helpful service.

The staff were the best part of our stay. They were lovely, always smiling, and nothing seemed too much trouble, from bringing your favorite drink to keeping the whole family entertained. They made every minute better, and are clearly Gravity’s main asset. There were plenty of pools and activities, the aqua park was fun, and snorkeling off the private beach was a great experience. The hotel was clean, friendly, and accommodating. Management stayed on top of things and sorted any issues right away. They even gave me a private number to call if we needed anything. Brilliant.
