Juliana Beach Hurghada

The beach is private, with clear water that’s lovely to swim in, and I enjoyed chatting with the friendly, smiley holidaymakers, especially the Egyptians, and seeing their adorable children. The Red Sea views are gorgeous at sunrise and sunset, and even the moonlight across the water is spectacular. It’s a great place to unwind, experience the local culture, music, and entertainment. I love the rooftop restaurant, where the staff are friendly and smiling, and the food and music are great. The views from up there are wonderful. There’s also a huge pool in the middle of the resort, between the hotel and the beach, plus an outdoor dining area where you can order drinks. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The lifts sometimes play up, but the resort has just four levels plus the rooftop, and the wide stairs are manageable. I walk them for exercise, lol. Juliana Beach still has plenty to build and fix, but the plans look exciting and I can see the place and the area growing each day. I love Juliana Beach Resort in Hurghada Egypt.

I booked a double room with a sea view, but got a bed and sofa with a tiny window where the sea was barely visible. The staff were rude and customer service was poor. The hotel is quite far from town, the food was awful, and the beach loungers had no mattresses, just hard plastic against your skin. I hope future guests are treated better.

Downstairs, Havana restaurant had amazing food and drinks, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The reception seating area was welcoming, and there are reliable, affordable drivers and tour operators. Kids can enjoy the slides and pool, and play soccer next door on the beach. Shops, bars, and restaurants in El faroush are a 5-10 minute walk away. It’s also 10min -20mins by car to the old town and Elgouna, so the location feels nicely between them. The private beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water, and I think it’s the best beach in Hurghada. My apartment had lovely sea views, sunsets, sunrises, and moonsets. The rooftop views are amazing too, though they still need to add more of the Arabian sheak sheer curtains seating. The building needs more filling and painting inside and out, and the restaurant food needs improvement. There’s still construction and work to finish at Juliana, but I highly recommend it for affordable accommodation. I love Juliana Beach resort.

The food was limited, bland, and not good. Dust and dead insects were all over the floor and furniture, and the room amenities were poor quality. Housekeeping came only on my first day of a three-night stay. The sheets and quilts had yellow marks and blood stains. When I asked for clean linen, I was told all of it had those marks. After a lot of back and forth, they eventually brought us new sheets.
