The seaside café was the best part, with great food and even better views. The sea was an easy 100-meter walk away, and getting access was simple. Markets and local shops were close by, and Uber was the cheapest and most convenient way to get around Hurghada. The Red Sea view, poolside atmosphere, and room all looked like the photos. Staff were friendly and helpful, but didn’t speak English, so Google Translate came in handy. The front desk stayed responsive, though I had to wait about 15 minutes outside because the door was locked, then another 15 minutes to check in while the receptionist came from a distance. I booked three nights at Lilly Lounge. The Wi-Fi barely reached the room, where there was no internet. It worked by the pool, but even a second router didn’t help, so I relied on mobile data. On my third evening, the generator failed and we had no electricity for over six hours. I was working on a presentation and had to move to a nearby restaurant. Power still wasn’t back by 11 PM. Management moved me to another of their properties, but it took over an hour, and I barely slept before my early flight. I asked for a partial refund. They were open to it, but said Agoda didn’t support refunds and a bank transfer wasn’t an option. I’m giving it three stars because management and staff remained responsive, it might have been bad luck, and the property is worth what you pay.
