Palma Vision Resort

There’s a lovely restaurant right next to the resort, and I’d warmly recommend it. The resort has its own pool and is surrounded by a fence. Some rooms can be very nice, though the building looks worn down. It’s a resort within another resort, and it’s hard to say whether it’s better.

If peace and quiet are what you want, the hotel’s very tranquil location is a real plus. But it lacks a lot of amenities, and it needs major work on organization and guest service to make stays comfortable. The food quality also needs attention, along with other operational issues the management should address.

The view from our room was amazing, and there’s real potential for this place to become very good. It’s an affordable option if you want a pool and time by the sea, but it’s a long way from the city centre and getting deliveries is really difficult. The restaurant was mediocre and noisy, there were no activities at all, and the pool closing around 7 was disappointing. We also had some serious electricity and water outages. One day, we had no water for almost half the day.

For around £30 per room for two people, it was good value, so I suppose you get what you pay for. The rooms were spacious and not too bad, though the duvets weren’t provided right away. Staff were friendly, but room service took ages, and the restaurant staff weren’t especially pleasant. The photo is from across the street by the local mosque.
